Tayla Polia, a 26-year-old who was getting how a parlay works in gambling on Sunday morning, just earned herself an early Christmas present after putting $5 on a 15-leg NFL parlay that netted her just over $100,000.
No fucking joke, bros.
With 20,000-to-1 odds, Tayla took the spread in 14 of the 15 games, and capped her remarkable victory when the Detroit Lions upset the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. Her bet included taking the over on the Steelers-Broncos game on Sunday, too.

According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, here’s what Tayla Polia had to say:
“On Sunday morning, my boyfriend and I were sitting on the couch talking about how spreads worked. He was frustrated since I wasn’t getting it right away.”
“I remembered that I picked the Giants and they lost,” Polia said. “So I thought it was strange when I looked at it [Tuesday] morning and saw that I won.”
Polia then called up William Hill and the person on the other line informed her that she was picking against the spread. The Panthers beat the Giants by three. Polia had the Giants as a five-point underdog.
Polia said, upon hearing the news, she fell to the floor of the law firm where she works in disbelief and, minutes later, said she was going out to lunch.
“I somehow drove back home to tell my boyfriend in person,” Polia said. “Of course, he didn’t believe me.”
The chick went on to say that one of her dreams is to own a beach house in California, so, if she keeps hitting on unbelievable sports bets like this, that may happen sooner rather than later.
