Landon Rink might be the strongest athlete in the college football recruiting Class of 2025. He continues to put up ridiculous numbers in the weight room and joined a very exclusive club on Monday night.

The 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive lineman recorded a 605-pound squat and broke the all-time school record by lifting more than twice his body weight. His teammates went absolutely bonkers!

To put that number in perspective, it was a big deal when Nick Chubb put up 610 as a five-year NFL veteran. People went nuts when Jalen Hurts squatted 600 as a senior in college.

Rink is a junior in high school.

And it’s not just his lower body! He hit 504 on the bench press while listening to Ice Spice last week.

Rink is considered anywhere between a three- and four-star college football prospect depending on where you look. He has 35 scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Arizona, Duke, Houston, Miami, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, USC, Stanford, Wisconsin and Nebraska, among others. All of the major players are involved.

However, from Cypress, Tex., Rink is considered to be a heavy lean toward the in-state schools. Texas is in an early lead for his commitment, but there is still a very long way to go and his stock only continues to rise.

Rink plays against some of the best talent in the country with Cy-Fair High School. The Bobcats went 11-2 last season en route to the third round of the 64A D1 Texas High School Football playoffs.

His tape shows that he is a mauler with a relentless motor. Rink’s crazy lower body strength gives him an immediate burst off of the line and gives him a strong base. He destroys opposing offensive linemen on every single snap.

Landon Rink’s recruiting stock is on the rise!!
