Lane Kiffin’s eldest daughter was greeted by a vulgar sign that mentioned her by name upon arrival to Athens, Georgia. Landry decided to lean into the troll attempt and embraced the quip rather than shying away or causing a scene.

College football fans, even beyond the SEC, often create large tapestry-like signs ahead of big matchups. Sometimes it’s a bedsheet, sometimes it’s a canvas, sometimes it’s a tarp.

Most of the time, simple spray paint is used to spell out some kind of jab at the incoming opponent.

The jokes are usually targeted at the opposing fanbase. Often times, when applicable, they take aim at an ongoing scandal or viral incident surrounding their program. In other instances, the cracks bring family members into the mix.

Nick Saban’s daughter, for example, is often the butt of the joke on the game day signs. For example:

This week, however, the Bulldogs turned their sights toward a different SEC head coach’s daughter. Landry, a freshman at Ole Miss, moved to Oxford during high school and ultimately played a big role in Lane Kiffin‘s decision to stay with the Rebels instead of leaving to coach the Auburn Tigers.

Georgia fans thought it would be funny to welcome her to Athens with a vulgar sign. Landry not only saw the sign, but responded by posing for a hilarious photo.

That’s it. There is a lot to unpack here.

First and foremost, the sign lacks creativity. (*whispers* is that even an insult?)

Secondly, signs of such nature typically hang from fraternity houses or off-campus student housing at other schools/in other college towns. This particular sign that targets Landry hands from a window above a bar in the downtown area of Athens. That’s weird!

Landry was completely unfazed by the Bulldogs’ classless attempt at humor. And it wasn’t even funny…
