A video allegedly showing Lane Kiffin's halftime speech has leaked.
The LSU football team destroyed Clemson in its season opener, 51-10. It was an emphatic statement for Lane Kiffin following an offseason of drama.
Negative headlines have followed his program. A video currently circulating social media suggests the Tigers‘ head coach has fully embraced his role as college football’s villain.
I do not have 100% confirmation that the voice in the video is Kiffin’s. In the world of AI, it’s hard to be absolutely sure of anything without firsthand knowledge of the situation.
It certainly sounds like Kiffin. The message relayed to players fits the narrative currently surrounding the program. People don’t like LSU. Lane Kiffin doesn’t care.
Alleged Lane Kiffin halftime speech leaks.
TikTok user @KentSports posted the video online late Monday night. You can find it HERE. Be warned, there is some strong language.
The clip does not show any players or coaches. It is supposedly taken from inside the LSU locker room during halftime of the Clemson game. The party recording the video would appear to be an athletics staffer judging by the attire.
Kiffin, or someone with an eerily similar voice and cadence, provided his team with the following message.
“We started here like seven, eight months ago, and we asked you to work really hard. We asked you to come back to work again and again and again.
“Do you feel good about what happened (in the first half)? Who gives a f— what happened? That’s what’s supposed to happen. Ain’t no f— celebrations for that.
“(Clemson’s) f— soft… We’re f— different. And you’re going to show ’em again… You send them a f— message… Don’t think we’re letting up late… F— take it out on them. The whole f— world hates you. You get a chance to tell the whole world, ‘Go f— yourself.'”
Lane Kiffin loves being the bad guy.
LSU has been college football’s ultimate villain over the last eight months. Lane Kiffin is embracing it, regardless of whether or not the halftime speech audio is real. He said as much after the game. His critics can’t possibly hate him more, so there’s no sense in trying to appease them.

Kiffin has burned bridges and pushed limits in Baton Rouge. His current tenure started with his former school gearing up for a playoff run. He then immediately used the portal to lure transfers away from the Ole Miss roster.
He further riled the Rebels during the summer with comments made in a Vanity Fair article that hinted at racism in Oxford, Mississippi.
In August, Kiffin added two players that had previously signed with NFL teams to his roster. It’s created an all-out war with the SEC.
None of the offseason drama seemed to impact the team. LSU was up 31-3 at halftime against Clemson in the season opener. It coasted to a 41-point win while its head coach took jump shots on the sidelines.

Lane Kiffin is no stranger to negative attention. It’s followed him at nearly every stop. The leaked halftime speech audio suggests he does he not care. He’s out to prove a point, and the outside perception is fueling his program.
