LSU Neglects Jayden Daniels Getting Obliterated By Ole Miss While Helping Lane Kiffin Troll Tennessee

Lane Kiffin is the head football coach at the University of Mississippi. Jayden Daniels was the starting quarterback at Louisiana State University after transferring from Arizona State.

It was very strange to see them together in Knoxville, which is home of the University of Tennessee.

Kiffin famously left the Volunteers after one season for the same job with the USC Trojans. Daniels faced the Vols just once in his college career and lost.

How did they both end up in east Tennessee on a random Monday afternoon in December? Who knows.

More than likely, Kiffin is in town to recruit. Daniels might be training for the NFL Draft at a local facility.

Regardless of the reason, they were together. Kiffin posted a photo of them together with a sharp jab at his former college football program and current rival.

LSU responded with a popular joke of its own.

The Heisman winner and a fan

While that might be true — Daniels won the Heisman and Kiffin is a fan — the Tigers neglected one thing. They lost to the Rebels this year!

Daniels got absolutely obliterated during the loss. It was straight out of a cartoon.

LSU’s social media team was clearly not thinking about the on-field result when it posted its quip. Unfortunately, the Ole Miss fanbase was quick to remind them of their blunder.

Kiffin beat the Heisman Trophy winner this year. Perhaps the Bayou Bengals should have considered that notion when they tried to put him down!

Swing and a miss down in Baton Rouge.

The good news is that it’s really not that serious. The even better news is that Lane Kiffin and Jayden Daniels were able to put their Magnolia Bowl rivalry aside to take a jab at Tennessee and the Volunteers.

That is something that both LSU and Ole Miss fans can get behind.
