Lane Kiffin did not hold back while talking about his team’s big win.
On Saturday night, LSU absolutely destroyed Clemson and gave Dabo Swinney the most lopsided loss of his Clemson career.
What a debut for Lane Kiffin 🔥🔥
LSU beats Clemson 51-10, the worst loss of Dabo Swinney’s Clemson career 😬
They outgained them by 499 total yards, outrushed them 309-40, and ran 47 plays in their territory compared to 6 for Clemson 😱 pic.twitter.com/TIvTSp0VyI

After the game, Swinney admitted that his team got outplayed and outcoached by LSU.
“Really just a poor performance. Not what we worked for or expected. Give credit to LSU. They did a hell of a job executing their plan. … We just never really gave ourselves a chance to settle in.”
“We just got outplayed, outcoached in every facet tonight. Ain’t no other way to say it. Congratulations again to LSU. … Coming into this environment, you’ve gotta try to capture some moment when you get an opportunity, and we didn’t do that.”
While speaking to ESPN, Kiffin clowned Clemson and said he was surprised by how dysfunctional their offense was.
“I didn’t know they’d be that dysfunctional on offense,” Kiffin said of Clemson.
I caught Lane Kiffin on the field after press conferences and asked if he was surprised: “I thought it’d be like 35-7, 35-10” he said but “I didn’t know they’d be that dysfunctional on offense.” Noted that LSU scout team scored more on their defense than Clemson did.
