Larsa Pippen Speaks Out On Michael Jordan After Disapproval Of Relationship With Son Marcus

Larsa Pippen spent 24 years married to Basketball Hall of Famer and legendary teammate of Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen.

But when the two got divorced, it wasn’t exactly amicable.

Larsa was seen out several men, including NBA player Malik Beasley, shortly after the formal split.

Her latest boyfriend, however, is the most controversial yet. Pippen is currently dating Marcus Jordan, who is the second-oldest son of Michael Jordan. She’s 17 years older than Marcus, which Michael apparently does not approve of.

Pippen addressed Jordan’s comment with TMZ on Tuesday.

“I didn’t think it was funny,” she said. “There’s nothing funny about it.”
“I was kind of embarrassed,” she added.
Pippen told TMZ that she has been reassured that Michael had no issue with her dating his son. She then went out in public and told members of the paparazzi as much.
Now, however, things about to have changed.
“I was like traumatized,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Oh, my God. What are we going to do?’ People think I lied.”
Though Pippen is unsettled, Marcus said he’s spoken to his father and cleared up the remarks.
“Marcus, though, said Michael reached out multiple times after he made the remarks and insisted he was OK with the couple,” the report says. “Marcus added that he believed MJ didn’t outright say that last week because he didn’t want it to fuel any speculation that the two were only dating in order to stick it to Scottie — his former Bulls teammate who he’s since had big beef with.”
One way or another, this one feels like it’s bound to get even more messy. Scottie hates Michael. Michael hates Scottie. Larsa and Scottie hate each other and Marcus is punching well above his weight.
Something has got to give. But in the meantime, we’ll just sit back and watch.
