Things could get awkward between LeBron James and his next Sixers teammate, Jaylen Brown.
On Friday, LeBron announced that he would be joining the Philadelphia 76ers in hopes of winning another championship.
“I believe I can help make the Philadelphia 76ers a championship team, and I am so excited to energize a new fan base and start this incredible journey one last time.”
“Thank you LA. Miami I’ll forever love and Northeast Ohio will always home!”
Fans immediately recalled the time that Brown, who was traded to the Sixers earlier in the offseason, once trashed LeBron’s son Bronny James while sitting courtside at a Summer League game.

While speaking to the media in February, LeBron addressed Brown’s comments about Bronny.
Our relationship has been pretty respectful. “Besides that s— he said about Bronny at Summer League. But other than that, we’ve been alright.
“I think he went on social media and said something about it. It’s all good.”

At the time he made the comments, Brown did try to smooth things over and praised Bronny on social media.
“It’s a flex to have your son alongside you in the nba it reflects greatness and longevity !Bronny has all the tools around him to be successful I look forward to watching his growth” said Brown on a Twitter post.
