The Los Angeles Lakers held off the Minnesota Timberwolves after coming back down from 15 points.
However, it wasn’t without some late-game dramatics from Anthony Davis that cause LeBron James to call him out immediately after the contest.
In the closing seconds of the fourth quarter, James found a wide-open Dennis Shroder at the corner. The veteran point guard hit the three-point shot, putting the Lakers up 98-95.
With just 1.4 seconds left on the clock, Anthony Davis committed, what LeBron James called a “brain fart”, a horrible foul that sent Mike Conley to the free throw line to shoot three free throws.
Conley ended up hitting all three attempts, forcing the game into overtime.
Eventually, the Lakers pulled off the victory and that’s when LeBron James hilariously called out Anthony Davis on live television.

Could you imagine how much different this would be had the Lakers lost? Would James have still called out Davis in front of the cameras like that?
It feels like Anthony Davis is lucky the Lakers were able to pull away in overtime. This hilarious moment between him, LeBron James, and Dennis Schroder wouldn’t be so funny otherwise.
Oh well. The Lakers advance to the NBA Playoffs where they’ll face the Memphis Grizzlies. It should be a fun series, but for LeBron James’ and the Lakers’ sake, hopefully, Davis doesn’t commit any more brain farts.
The Grizzlies are a much better team than the Timberwolves. So the Lakers must be on top of their game.
