There’s been an incredible amount of speculation about where LeBron James will end up next year after becoming a free agent, which is basically the NBA’s equivalent of people trying to woo Amazon to get them to build their new HQ in their city. Fans have also gotten in on the action, with people across the country erecting billboards trying to convince James to join their team.

Over the past year (and beyond), there have been various reports concerning the teams James would consider joining next year if JuJu Smith-Schuster fails in his attempt to get The King to quit basketball and defect to the NFL. However, James has been fairly cryptic when it comes to his future, but in a recent interview with Cleveland.com, he revealed the two biggest factors that will impact his newest Decision.

The 33-year-old said one of the most important factors concerning his future was to join a team that can legitimately compete for a title, but said there’s one other major aspect that will impact his choice:

“My family. That’s all that matters. I want to continue to win at the highest level, because I know I can still do it as an individual, and then my family. My family is what’s most important to me, more than anything.”

James reportedly visited a number of schools in Philadelphia during the All-Star break, freaking out 76ers fans who are still waiting for The Process to pan out. Regardless of where he ends up, this promises to be one hell of an offseason.
