Earlier today HBO announced they were releasing a barbershop talk show featuring LeBron James called ‘The Shop” which is set to premiere on August 28th.

The first episode for HBO was shot last week in Los Angeles at West Hollywood’s Barber Surgeons Guild, and is set to bow Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 11 p.m. ET/PT. It features James and Carter in conversation with Snoop Dogg (who throws shade on frequent collaborator Dr. Dre in the clip below) as well as the New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr., New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, Los Angeles Sparks star Candace Parker and comedian Jon Stewart.

In the first trailer released by HBO, LeBron talks about what it’s like watching his kids play basketball and how he regrets naming his son LeBron Jr. because of the unrealistic expectations that puts on him.

Over the years the best content released by LeBron’s “Uninterrupted” series has been his barbershop roundtable videos, so it’s kind of cool that we’re getting an expanded format of that show.

Check out HBO’s Youtube page for more clips of “The Shop”.
