LeBron James Takes Shots At The NCAA For Creating 'Rich Paul Rule' That Requires NBA Agents To Have 4-Year Degrees To Represent Student-Athletes

This afternoon it was reported that the NCAA will enact new rules to which agents can qualify to represent student athletes who want to “test out NBA waters” before making the jump to the pro level.

Sources: The NCAA has officially added criteria for agents who wish to represent student athletes testing the waters for the NBA Draft.

Criteria:
– Bachelor's Degree
– Certified with NBPA for a minimum of three years
– Take an in-person exam at the NCAA Office in Indianapolis

Many felt the new rules were made against LeBron James close friend Rich Paul, who has become one of the biggest agents in the league but never attained a college degree.

The NCAA is creating a rule that requires agents (who wish to represent student athletes) to have a college degree.

Rich Paul does not have a college degree.
