Legend Bey could be a legend at Ohio State. The Buckeyes’ newest college football phenom added a lot of muscle to his frame during an impressive body transformation over the last six months.

He is JACKED!

I fully expect Bey to make a significant impact for Ohio State during his first college football season. His versatility is unmatched.

Who is Legend Bey?

Bey, whose legal first name is Legend, played high school football at North Forney in Texas. He was rated as a four-star prospect in the recruiting Class of 2027 and ranked as one of the top 150 players in the country.

His highlight tape is crazy. Legend Bey finished his high school career with more than 4,000 rushing yards, more than 3,500 passing yards and triple-digit touchdowns.

37 schools offered a scholarship to Bey but his recruitment ultimately came down to Tennessee and Ohio State. It was chaos. Bey initially committed to the Volunteers in June 2025. He decommitted in November and flipped to the Buckeyes.

He later flipped back to Tennessee on signing day in December. The Vols technically received his letter of intent.

And then it got weird.

Bey hinted at something of a hostage situation where his mother might’ve forged his signature. There was a lot of back and forth over the next few days and weeks about what really happened. It ultimately resulted in Bey forcing his way out of Tennessee by requesting a release from his letter of intent. He enrolled at Ohio State for the spring semester.

Although Bey played quarterback for the Falcons, he projects as a multi-position athlete on the next level. The Buckeyes plan to use him all over the field a hybrid role, kind of like Tyreek Hill. He turned a lot of heads during the spring practice period.

Ohio State does not give the No. 2 to just anybody. Bey is legit.

Ohio State’s true freshman phenom added A LOT of muscle to his frame.

Legend Bey was listed on the spring football roster at 5-foot-10, 177 pounds. That number is likely inaccurate after his first six months on campus in Columbus.

I find it hard to believe that 177 pounds is accurate. Or, if it is, he is all muscle and no fat.

Legend Bey is going to be a real problem for Big Ten defenses as a true freshman. The Buckeyes are going to want to get him the ball in space as often as possible. And if there is no space, it looks like he is more than ready to clear his own path!
