Leonard Fournette’s Car Catches On Fire While Driving It, SUV Destroyed

NFL free-agent running back Leonard Fournette narrowly escaped a potentially fatal incident as his car caught fire while he was driving on the highway.

Fournette, however, reassured everyone that he emerged from the incident unscathed.

Taking to his Instagram account, the free agent running back shared a video that showcased his charred car parked on the side of the highway.

The front of the vehicle appeared to be almost entirely melted away, with police officers visible in the background. The exact location and cause of the fire have yet to be determined.

Alongside the video, Fournette provided an update on his well-being, expressing his gratitude for his safety despite the harrowing experience.

In the Instagram caption, he wrote, “Man, it was one of those days today, but I would like to thank God. My car caught on fire while I was driving, but I am still blessed  🙏 ❤”

Leonard Fournette, ag 28, most recently played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2022 season, accumulating 668 yards and three touchdowns on 189 rush attempts. However, he became a free agent when the team released him in March of that year.

Prior to his release by the Buccaneers, Fournette enjoyed a successful career with the team, totaling 1,847 rushing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 43 regular-season games. He was instrumental in helping Tom Brady and the Bucs secure a victory in Super Bowl LV, contributing four touchdowns during their playoff championship run.
