Le’Veon Bell’s career as an elite NFL running back essentially ended the day he was traded to the New York Jets. It certainly didn’t help that he had Adam Gase as his head coach.
Appearing on The Justin Laboy Show, Le’Veon Bell claimed he would regularly catch Adam Gase doing cocaine in his office shortly before practice. Bell said he witnessed it first-hand with his “own two eyes.”
Le’Veon Bell claims he caught former New York Jets head coach Adam Gase doing cocaine in his office before practice multiple times
“He might have been the dumbest coach ever… We got practice in 28 minutes and this is what you’re doing in here?” Bell said of Gase in a clip going viral on social media.
Ex-NFL star Le’Veon Bell had Justin Laboy crying of LAUGHTER after CALLING OUT his old NY Jets coach, Adam Gase, for being the WORST coach of all time & EXPOSING him for doing C*KE in his office 😳💀👀

In addition to the revelation about Gase’s alleged drug use, Bell also went on a lengthy rant about Gase’s deficiencies as a playcaller and head coach.
During his time with the Jets, Bell had 264 carries for 863 yards and scored 4 touchdowns in 17 games. As for Gase, he was the head coach of Gang Green in 2019 and 2020, and went 9-23 over that span.

Gase’s Jets were outscored by 297 points across 32 games — the worst point differential in the NFL over that span and ranked 32nd in scoring both seasons despite Gase being an offensive-minded head coach, while also overseeing a franchise-record 13-game losing streak to start the 2020 season.
After 17 games wih the Jets, Bell spent the final year-and-a-half of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Bucs. As for Gase, he crashed out of the NFL and went on to coach at Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan, his hometown.
In February of this year, however, Gase was hired by the Los Angeles Chargers to serve as a passing game specialist, replacing former passing game coordinator Marcus Brady.
