The Jacksonville Jaguars upset the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, giving rookie head coach Liam Coen a chance to give Niners defensive coordinator Robert Saleh a piece of his mind after the game. Coen had taken issue with comments Saleh made about his coaching staff stealing signals.
In the lead-up to Sunday’s Week 4 clash between the San Francisco 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars, Robert Saleh accused the Jags’ coaching staff of having an advanced, but legal, signal stealing system.
“Liam Coen and his staff coming from Minnesota they got legally a really advanced signal stealing system where they always find a way to put themselves in an advantageous situation. They do a great job of it. We have to be great with our signals. Be great with our communication to combat some of those tells we might give on the field,” Saleh said in the leadup to the Week 4 matchup.
Coen — who ultimately got the last laugh, as the Jags upset the Niners on the road by a score of 26-21 — clearly did not take kindly to Saleh’s comments as he chirped him immediately after the final whistle, telling the former New York Jets head coach to keep his name out of his mouth.

That prompted Saleh to respond with a physical threat, telling the rookie Jags head coach:
“I’ll f— your world up. You don’t wanna f— with me. I will f—— end your f—— life.”

Coen and the Jags will look to continue their surprisingly strong start to the season and improve to 4-1 on the season when they host the Kansas City Chiefs for Monday Night Football on October 6.
As for the Niners, they have a quick turnaround for Week 5 as they head to Los Angeles for a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Rams.
