Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is rapidly closing in on an NFL record for the most consecutive passes thrown without an interception.

Goff has now thrown 359 consecutive passes without an interception , which is the 3rd most in NFL history.

Goff’s last interception dates back to Week Nine of the 2022 season, against the Green Bay Packers.

His remarkable streak continued during Thursday night’s season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs, where Goff added 35 more passes without an interception during the win.

The coveted top spot belongs to none other than Aaron Rodgers, who managed 402 passes without an interception during the 2018 season.

In second place is the legendary Tom Brady, who achieved a remarkable 399 consecutive passes without an interception in 2022.

Notably, Brady had previously held the third-place spot with his 358-pass streak, which spanned from 2010 to 2011 before being surpassed by Goff on Thursday night.

Goff now finds himself just 44 passes away from breaking Rodgers’ record of 403 straight passes without an interception.

And as a reward for his great play, after the Chiefs game ended Jared Goff received a nice congratulations from his Sports Illustrated model fiancé Christen Harper.
