NFL players are not built the same as you and I.
Not only are most of comically large human beings, but they’re also capable of seemingly superhuman feats.
Take, for instance, Detroit Lions center Frank Ragnow, who will take the field for Sunday’s NFC championship game against San Francisco 49ers with a list of injuries that is almost comically long.
Ragnow was on the field for every single one of the 73 offensive plays the Lions ran in their 31-23 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round.
That despite limping off the field multiple times due to sprained knee and ankle he suffered over the course of the game.
Ragnow’s performance was so gutsy that Lions fans recognized it by donating to his Rags Remembered Foundation, which aims to “foster a love of the outdoors in children and their families” with a focus on kids and teenagers mourning the loss of a parent.

The three-time Pro Bowler started the foundation in memory of his father, Jon, who passed away unexpectedly in 2016.
Lions Center Frank Ragnow Has Every Injury Known To Man
But with the NFC Championship Game just days away, there was no time to heal up. Ragnow, however, won’t be stopped.
Lions coach Dan Campbell confirmed his star center would play on Sunday despite an official injury report which lists “ankle/toe/knee/back” as problems that Ragnow is dealing with.

So yeah, he’s pretty much a walking infirmary.
Almost every NFL player is dealing with some sort of injury or soreness this far into the season.
But lineman get beat up more than anybody else on the field. And Ragnow appears to be an extreme example of that.
Fans couldn’t help but make light of the situation.

Next time you think you might want to be an NFL player, just remember Frank Ragnow. You’ll reconsider that stance very, very quickly.
