Lions center Frank Ragnow didn’t let a couple of painful injuries stop him from doing his job during his team’s win against the Buccaneers on Sunday, and fans of the franchise honored his gutsy performance by donating tens of thousands of dollars to his charity.

There are usually only a couple of scenarios where a center in the NFL manages to attract a fair amount of attention to themself: screwing up a snap in a key situation or being Jason Kelce.

However, Ragnow emerged as a pretty notable exception to that rule thanks to what unfolded when the Detroit Lions faced off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Divisional round.

On Sunday, the center was on the field for every single one of the 73 offensive plays the Lions ran in the 31-23 victory that earned them the right to face off against the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

That stat might not be significant on its own, but it’s pretty impressive when you consider he spent a good chunk of the contest nursing the sprained knee and ankle he found himself dealing with thanks to the setbacks he suffered over the course of the game.

Ragnow’s performance garnered plenty of praise from head coach (and noted Grit Enthusiast) Dan Campbell, who labeled the center a “stud” for playing through the pain.

Lions fans also took notice, as they quickly started to send donations to the Rags Remembered Foundation, the charity the lineman established in the memory of his father that aims to “foster a love of the outdoors in children and their families” with a focus on kids and teenagers mourning the loss of a parent.

On Wednesday, Ragnow got the chance to personally thank the people who’ve contributed to the cause while revealing the foundation has received over $20,000 in donations since the weekend.

Lions fans aren’t the only ones in a charitable mood this week, as Bills Mafia has donated more than $100K to a charity linked with kicker Tyler Bass, who received that outpouring of support in the wake of his missed field goal.

You absolutely love to see it.
