Since Tom Brady became the Patriots’ starting QB in the third game of the 2001 season, they have never had a losing season (only once winning less than 10 games, and even then it was nine), have won 16 division titles (including a record 10 in a row), reached nine Super Bowls, won six of them, and have defeated a total of 24 different starting quarterbacks, several of them current and/or future Hall of Famers, in the playoffs.

That, my friends, is absurd.

I mean, yes, of course I hate the Patriots with a passion, but damn, respect.

Check out the list of NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have sent home with an L during the playoffs over the past 18 seasons, courtesy Patriots’ beat reporter Jeff Howe.

Rich Gannon, Kordell Stewart, Kurt Warner, Steve McNair, Peyton Manning (twice), Jake Delhomme, Ben Roethlisberger (twice), Donovan McNabb, Byron Leftwich, Chad Pennington, Philip Rivers (three times), David Garrard, Tim Tebow, Joe Flacco (twice), Matt Schaub, Andrew Luck (twice), Russell Wilson, Alex Smith, Brock Osweiler, Matt Ryan, Marcus Mariota, Blake Bortles, Patrick Mahomes, and Jared Goff.

Do you know how many wins all of those quarterbacks have combined? No, seriously, do you know, because it has got to be a shitton.

By comparison, since 1999, just two years before Brady took over in New England, the Cleveland Browns have started 30 different quarterbacks.
