Liverpool Football Club won the 2024/2025 Premier League title with about a month to spare left in the season, leaving the team with a longer-than-usual runway for celebrations. As a result, the team appears to be jetting in-and-out of England between playing Premier League matches and going on luxurious vacations.
Following their 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday, reports indicate the Liverpool squad jetted off to Dubai — reportedly as a goodbye trip for right back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is divisively departing for Real Madrid — while head coach Arne Slot went to Ibiza.
This comes on the heels of the team reportedly having a four-day personal holiday the week before their match against Arsenal, which saw many of the players jet off to various locations. Needless to say, the remaining games on their schedule don’t seem to be top of Liverpool’s mind.
Videos on social media shows the Liverpool squad — players such as Virgil Van Dijk, Kostas Tsimikas, Diogo Jota, Joe Gomez, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alisson Becker are specifically pictured — relaxing on a yacht.

Meanwhile, first-year manager Arne Slot — who joined an elite list of managers to win the Premier League in their first season that includes Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini, and Antonio Conte — is down at a beach club in Ibiza with bottle girls holding up celebratory signs and Queens’ “We Are The Champions” pumping through the speakers.

Part of the reason Liverpool is able to get away with partying like this is that this summer is the rare summer in which there is no major international tournaments, meaning soccer players around the world will be getting far more rest in the offseason than they’re used to.
While transfers made by clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City will undoubtedly impact the odds over the summer, Liverpool are currently the betting favorites to repeat as Premier League champions next season.
