Former college gymnast and Paul Skenes’ girlfriend Livvy Dunne revealed this week how disgusted she felt after Andrew Tate slid into her DMs.
Candice Nguyen, a social media influencer, stopped Livvy Dunne for a brief interview while she was at Fanatics Fest in New York.
One of the questions Nguyen asked Dunne was, “What is the funniest DM you ever received that made you close the app immediately?”
Dunne, who has almost 8 million followers on TikTok and over 5 million on Instagram, receives frequent messages on social media from friends and fans.
“Oh my God,” Livvy replied with a laugh. “The funniest DM? I think it’s from certain people that just get me weak.”
Then, without any prompting, Livvy told Nguyen, “I know this is controversial. Andrew Tate one time messaged me and I was like, I need to like delete Instagram forever. And then his account got deactivated and that was that.”
“Oh my God, I would delete my own Instagram too after that point,” Nguyen replied with a look of shock on her face.
“I was like, ahhh!” Dunne added.
Andrew Tate tried sliding into Livvy Dunne’s DMs in 2023
The brief social media encounter that Livvy Dunne was most likely referring to happened in June of 2023.
Dunne appeared on the Nelk Boys’ Full Send Podcast to discuss NIL deals, her social media career, and celebrities who have slid in her DMs.
According to Dunne, at that time, the most famous person to slide in her DMs was Andrew Tate.
“Andrew Tate…That one I saw, and I said there’s absolutely no way right now, I was like what is he doing in my DMs right now…I knew what he was doing,” she said.
When asked what Tate wrote in her DMs,” she replied, “He said come to Europe dear, with a rose.”
Dunne went on to say that she’s not a fan, telling a Nelk Boy, “Ummm, no. It was kind of in the moment when he was completely blowing up, and I got the come to Europe thing.”
Livvy Dunne also made a TikTok video mocking the encounter.
