Logan Paul might want to think twice before calling out Lionel Messi. Last year, Paul’s Prime Hydration company found itself in a legal battle with Messi’s Mas+ brand. Apparently, Mas+ sued Prime after Prime sent them several cease and desist letters because they felt Mas+’s bottle design looked similar to theirs.
Instead of folding, MÁS+ BY MESSI pulls a “reverse Uno”! They filed for declaratory judgment asking a court to declare that Prime “has no protectable trade dress rights”. Vertical logos, bright colors, & popular flavors. Basically, things every sports drink uses… 🤷🏽♀️ pic.twitter.com/zMuWpXtLMT

Paul said he and Messi should settle their differences in the boxing ring.
“Brother, you copied us. Everyone has seen it, they saw what you did. And we got a lawsuit, wait a minute, this is unfair, obviously we did a countersuit. If you can’t beat the best, you have to be the best, but that’s illegal, that’s our design. We’re defending ourselves and that’s harassment?”
“Joking aside, I swear I would consider backing out of the lawsuit, only if…. Logan Paul vs Messi. See you in the ring, brother,” he concluded the video ironically.”
@loganpaul This lawsuit is getting messi 😬 @PRIME
Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Cheuko, was asked about Paul calling out his boss, and Cheuko seems ready to fight the WWE superstar.
“Look, Leo doesn’t know who this guy is. So if he really wanna fight, he can fight against me, not against a soccer player.”
.@LoganPaul you’ve been called out by Messi’s bodyguard, come fight Yasmine now!!!!! 😭
