The Los Angeles Chargers headed into the current NFL season with very high hopes following a disappointing loss to the Jaguars in the Wild Card Round last year. Sportsbooks predicted the team would win around 10 games when everything was said and done, but things got off to a fairly rocky start.

After beating the Raiders in Week 1, the Chargers fell to 1-2 following a close loss against the Chiefs and a blowout at the hands of Jacksonville. It didn’t take long for many NFL analysts to start to write them off after that second loss, although the franchise was ultimately able to turn things around and earn a wild card berth after finishing second behind a dominant Kansas City team in the AFC West.

Los Angeles might not be the best team in the NFL, but their social media team is pretty hard to beat thanks to the incredibly entertaining content it routinely pumps out. I’d argue the anime-inspired schedule announcement video they dropped ahead of this year’s campaign deserves to be described as “art,” and they also nailed the tone of the election ad parody they released in an unsuccessful bid to get Austin Eklers voted into the Pro Bowl.

Now, the Very Online group behind that Tremendous Content has returned with a vengeance, as the Chargers went above and beyond in a new video where they trolled the many so-called “experts” who wrote them off by printing out literal receipts featuring the various Cold Takes that didn’t exactly age well.

Boom roasted.
