Angel Reese is one of the best players in all of women’s college basketball.

Reese, sophomore, ranks fifth in the country with 23.2 points per game for the Tigers and was a first-team AP All-American this season.

After spending the first two seasons of her college career playing for the Maryland Terrapins, Reese transferred to LSU over the summer and the move has paid dividends.

The Tigers are 32-2 on the season. They recently moved into the Final Four with a 54-42 victory over Miami on Sunday.

There’s just one small problem.

Reese, as you can imagine, has gained quite the following. She’s got over 500 thousand followers on Instagram and number of NIL deals, including ones with major brands such as Bose and Wing Stop.

At 6-foot-3, she could also decide to forgo basketball altogether and have a pretty successful career in the modeling world. And that’s causing trouble for none other than mother, who is also named Angel Reese.

The elder Reese posted a hilarious tweet on Monday. She asked fans of her daughter to please stop sending her direct messages looking for a date.

“FYI…I am Angel Reese the mom not the LSUwbb player please be mindful when you tag and/or send me DM’s that your intent is to me not my daughter. I’m getting some crazy dating request from men my kids age who clearly by the content of msg think they’re sending it to Lil A🤣.” – Tweet from Angel Reese’s mother, Angel Reese.

For now, both Angel Reese’s have other things to focus on. The Tigers continue their question for a national championship Friday in Dallas. They’ll take on top-seeded Virginia Tech, who advanced to the Final Four with a blowout win over Ohio State.

The other side of the bracket holds No. 1 overall seed South Carolina and the Iowa Hawkeyes, led by superstar Caitlin Clark.
