Brian Kelly talked a big game heading into the season and now fans want him gone.
Before his team’s game vs FSU this weekend, Kelly confidently said that LSU was going to “beat the heck” out of the Seminoles.
“There are still areas that are going to need to be improved. We’re going to take 15 freshmen on this trip and 14 transfers so nearly 40% of this travel roster are going to go overnight for the first time with LSU. And that’s not a disclaimer of any kind, we’re going to beat the heck out of Florida State,”
LSU went on to get manhandled by FSU and got blown out 45-24.
After the game, Kelly appeared to take a shot at his team for being overconfident vs FSU.
“For some reason, we thought we were something else. We thought we were the 2-time defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs. We were mistaken.”

It appears that LSU fans are already fed up with Kelly and are calling for him to be fired.
LSU needs to get out in front of it early and just go ahead and fire Brian Kelly now. He beat up on a cookie cutter schedule every year at Notre Dame but he clearly cannot hack it in the big boy league.
