Olivia Dunne Makes Wild Accusation About TikTok Attempting To Shadow Ban Her

Is TikTok trying to block Olivia Dunne‘s shine?

That’s what the LSU gymnast and social media superstar is alleging.

Dunne, who has over 7.8 million followers on the platform, left a comment on one of her own videos asking “why am I shadow banned?”

That’s according to a report from David Hoookstead of Outkick.com.

Hookstead then goes on to support the allegation with numbers, noting that Dunne’s most recent videos fall well short of her typical metrics when it comes to views.

Is the site throttling her traffic? Or is the Olivia Dunne 15 minutes of fame officially over?

At one point, Dunne was so popular that she was forced to stop attending classes at LSU after a stalker made death threats toward her.

In July of 2023, Dunne confirmed that she could not attend classes in person at LSU due to her fame and safety concerns.

“I don’t want people to know my daily schedule and where I am,” she told Elle.com.

Dunne told NJ.com that is why she never posts while still at an event, even campus events at LSU like football or baseball games.

“It’s not about people swarming me — people at LSU are used to me at this point,” Dunne said. She doesn’t want to encourage it.

So maybe a shadow ban isn’t the worst thing?

After all, it’s a good way to get her out of the spotlight. And less spotlight theoretically means less stalkers?

TikTok is just out here looking out for Olivia Dunne’s safety.
