Quite a few LSU football players stood out on the stat sheet during a dominant win over Auburn on Saturday afternoon, but it was a security guard who earned the title of Most Valuable Player after laying a big hit on a rogue fan during the second half. Brian Kelly might want to consider looking into his remaining eligibility!

The Bayou Bengals, ranked No. 22 at 5-2, welcomed Hugh Freeze back to Baton Rouge for this first time since his embarrassing escort-based ouster at Ole Miss in 2016. A local restaurant was not particularly friendly toward his return and buried him six feet under with its marquee sign on the road to Tiger Stadium.

LSU was not particularly friendly either. It dropped 48 points on Freeze and his Tigers while allowing just 18 points on three separate scores in three separate quarters.

Jayden Daniels completed 20-of-27 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns while running for 93 yards on 11 carries. Logan Diggs ran 18 times for 97 yards and a score. Kyren Lacy caught four passes for 111 yards and a touchdown. Malik Nabers went for 89 yards and a touchdown on six catches.

All of this goes to say that the visitors did not stand much of a chance.

Defensively, as is per usual, Harold Perkins Jr. caused mayhem all night and Auburn never had an answer. However, it was not the sophomore linebacker who laid the biggest hit of the night.

It was a security guard!

A rogue fan ran onto the field during the second half and waved his hands to pump up the crowd. He was at the 50, the 45, the 40, the 35, the 30— and then he saw a staffer running his way and turned back.

As the fan got back to the 35, his juke attempt was an epic fail. He slipped and went down to the turf.

In that moment, a pair of security officers caught up. They teamed up for a tag-team tackle, but one in particular came in with perfect form to crush the fan with a perfect form tackle wrapped up around the waist. He got absolutely rocked!

The SEC is the most physical conference in football. Apparently, that notion also rings true for its security staffer. Should the Tigers ever need depth at linebacker, they know who to call!
