Luke Bryan’s Son, Bo Bryan, is making a serious name for himself as the quarterback of Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee. The high school senior was lights out in a statement game this past Friday against one of his school’s biggest rivals.
Bo Bryan went off, throwing for 406 yards and 6 touchdowns in a huge win over Franklin Road Academy, leading Battle Ground to a 41-36 victory in a rematch of last year’s Tennessee Division II-AA state championship.
“Well, just super impressed. Obviously, crosstown rival, big rival, big game. His senior year. You know, he’s learning as he goes,” Luke Bryan told USA Today after the game. “I mean, everything that happens to him this year is the first time he’s had all these pressure situations. The ups, the downs.
“He came out, we got behind. He threw a pick that actually turned into a touchdown for them. And then for the team to battle back and for him to really have an incredible second half… can’t be more proud as a dad.”

In five games so far this season, the son of country music icon Luke Bryan has completed 86 of 116 passes for 1,484 yards and 21 touchdowns, while throwing just three interceptions.
According to MaxPreps, in a season-opening 41-18 victory over St. Michael Catholic, the 6-foot-tall, 200-pound Bryan outperformed Gunner Rivers, the son of former NFL quarterback Philip Rivers, going 16 of 21 for 379 yards and three touchdowns.
So far, Bo Bryan has received offers from Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, North Alabama and UT Martin.
“You see the hard work that he puts in and you want the hard work to pay off,” Luke said. “Nights like tonight are when you get to celebrate that,” Luke Bryan added after the big win over Franklin Road. “Bo is really young in his development as a quarterback because he’s been a two- or three-sport athlete his whole life. The fact that he’s been able to really turn the corner as a quarterback has been amazing to see.”
