The marriage between the Arizona Cardinals and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been anything but harmonious over his three seasons with the team, and if a new video is any indication, it could soon come to an end.
Harrison, the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, was considered about as sure a thing as there can be when it comes to a wide receiver prospect.
After three dominant seasons at Ohio State, the overarching expectation was that he would come into the league and immediately become a star for the Cardinals.
His rookie season showed flashes, as Harrison caught 62 passes for 885 yards and eight touchdowns despite Arizona’s seemingly revolving door at quarterback.
However, he took a step back in 2026, catching just 41 passes for 608 yards and four touchdowns while missing five games due to injury.
Now entering his third season, fans and media members across the league labeled the 2026 season as now-or-never for Harrison as it pertains to his chances of becoming a superstar.
The early returns in preseason practice weren’t great, as he struggled mightily to catch the ball when it was thrown his way, and things haven’t gotten much better now that the season has started.

The Cardinals began the season with a stunning 26-14 upset of the Los Angeles Chargers. But Harrison didn’t play a major role, catching just one pass for 33 yards on three targets.
And his performance in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks was somehow even worse. Harrison was targeted just once and had zero catches in a 31-7 loss to the defending champions.
Now, a new video has emerged from the Chargers game that shows exactly why quarterback Jacoby Brissett isn’t looking Harrison’s way.

The video, posted on X by the account @RookieWatxh, shows Harrison routinely jogging in and out of breaks and often looking disengaged.
His tape against Seattle looked worryingly similar.
Whether he’s lost confidence, lost motivation, or is just frustrated with his usage, it’s clear that Marvin Harrison Jr. has completely checked out on the Arizona Cardinals.
Sadly, it seems as if a trade is the only way Harrison is likely to get his career back on track and for the Cardinals to wash their hands of a seemingly wasted pick.
