Matt Holliday knows a thing or two about baseball. He spent 15 years in Major League Baseball, batting .299 with 316 home runs, 1,220 RBI, 1,157 runs scored, and 108 stolen bases.
He also raised two sons to play the game. One of them, Jackson Holliday, was the first player taken in the 2022 MLB Draft. Now just 22-years-old, Jackson has already played three years in the Major Leagues with the Baltimore Orioles. His other son, 19-year-old Ethan Holliday, was the fourth overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft and is currently in the Colorado Rockies organization.
With his job complete, at least with regard to training his sons to be top five picks before they even turned 19-years-old, he is in the process of selling his amazing estate in Stillwell, Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma property is a baseball fan’s dream come true
And what an estate it is. If you are a baseball fan, it might just be your dream home.
Located at 3003 S. Country Club Road in Stillwater, it not only comes with batting cages and other perks one might expect to see at the home of a former MLB star, it also has its own private baseball field.
As the 136-acre estate’s listing on Realtor.com states, “There are luxury homes… and then there are estates that truly take your breath away.”
“There’s lots to do if you like being outside,” Matt Holliday tells The Athletic. “Jackson used to go out there and hit golf balls. Make his own little golf holes all over the property, and hit it over the water. So, if you like to be outside, it’s a great spot.”
The Holliday estate is like ‘a private resort’
That is an understatement. The listing says the home features high-end finishes throughout, including designer touches like Gucci wallpaper and elegant architectural details. But it’s outside where a baseball fan will find heaven.
“The outdoor amenities rival a private resort,” the listing reads. “A stunning $2M two-level pool serves as the focal point of the backyard, complemented by a luxury hot tub, expansive outdoor living areas, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen designed for entertaining on any scale. The private putting green, tranquil pond, and professionally lit baseball field create a truly one-of-a-kind setting-perfect for evening games under the lights.”
As if that wasn’t enough, it also comes with an indoor pickleball and basketball courts, a state-of-the-art $150,000 Crestron smart home system, and around $3 million worth of custom furniture is included.
Not bad, considering the overall list price is just $8,950,000. So, if you can afford about $60,000 a month in mortgage payments (with $1.79 million down and a 30-year loan), it could be yours.
