While Aston Villa may have lost the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal matchup to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, right back Matty Cash likely left the night with a memory he’ll keep forever. During the postgame press conferences, Cash was interviewed by his sister Hannah.

Matty Cash, 27 years old, is a right back for Aston Villa and for the Polish national team (Cash was born in England, but international football citizenship rules are another article for another day), his sister Hannah is a sports reporter and host whose currently working for CBS Sports. This season marks Villa’s first time competing in the Champions League since 1982-83, which was the season after they won the cup.

During Villa’s quarterfinal match against PSG, which the Birmingham club lost by a score 3-1, Cash was substituted at halftime, which his sister Hannah asked him about. According to Cash, it was a tactical decision by manager Unai Emery, as Cash had been given a yellow card in the first half, causing the manager not want to risk him getting a second yellow and kicked out of the game.

Continuing the heartwarming moment, Hannah confirmed to her brother that she recorded the game for him just like he asked before requesting a hug and telling him how proud she is.

The second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal between PSG and Aston Villa will kick off from Villa Park on Tuesday, April 15 at 3 p.m. EST. The current favorites to win the Champions League are Barcelona with odds of about +220, followed by Paris Saint-Germain with odds around +240. Arsenal and Inter Milan are also considered to be contenders by the bookies, while Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Villa and Dortmund are now long-shots following their defeats in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
