Mets Prospect Caught A Bat That Flew Into The Dugout With One Hand Like A Total Boss

I think it is safe to say the Luis Guillorme is ready for the big show. While the rest of his Mets teammates were practically diving for safety as a bat flew into their dugout, Guillorme stood there and caught it. He didn’t flinch. He didn’t even call attention to himself after doing it. He tossed it back to Adeiny Hechavarria, the Marlins player that lost it and went about his business.

To be honest, his stoic attitude about it disgusts me. Guillorme probably acted cool since he’s a 22-year-old prospect who hasn’t made it to the Bigs yet, but if I caught a bat like that I’d have walked it out of the dugout and then performed the bull dance around the entire base path. Happy Gilmore style.
