The Miami Hurricanes are leaving adidas and are signing a massive deal with Nike.
According to Miami Herald reporter Barry Jackson, the Miami Hurricanes will receive $20 million annually from Nike, about $14 million more than they did from adidas.

According to multiple sources, UM and Nike have agreed to a 10-year contract that is worth more than $200 million, or slightly more than $20 million annually. It’s one of the largest apparel deals in the history of college sports.
That annual value is well above the reported $6.5 million that UM makes annually in a 12-year contract with Adidas, a deal that expires next June. About two-thirds of the $20 million annual payment from Nike will be in cash; the remainder will be in apparel.

The deal will be Nike’s largest in college football, and the second-largest deal behind Penn State’s $300 million deal with adidas.

adidas could still match Nike’s deal, but Jackson reports there’s no indication they will.
