While the Detroit Lions might have been one of the feel-good stories in the National Football League last season, that doesn’t mean they can count Micah Parsons as one of their fans.

Taking to Twitter on Monday night, the Dallas Cowboys’ star outside linebacker took a wild unprovoked shot at both the team and the city.

Quote tweeting a post about Lions’ wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown telling Jalen Ramsey to come to Detroit, Parsons chimed in to declare that “no one is going from Los Angeles to Detroit.”

Parsons was’t the only one to weigh in on St. Brown’s comments, as Ramsey also responded on Twitter, saying that while he appreciates the love, he’s not going to comment on his future.

Parsons might unwittingly be giving one of the NFC’s contenders bulletin board material for next season, as the Lions finished last year as one of the hottest teams in the league and just narrowly missed out on the playoffs.

With Aaron Rodgers’ future with the Packers uncertain, the Vikings stuck in perpetual mediocrity due to Kirk Cousins, and the Bears being the Bears, the Lions could very well win the NFC North next season. As for Parsons and the Cowboys, the pressure will be on (like always), especially considering the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles just won the NFC and look poised to repeat as one of the conference’s strongest teams.

The Cowboys and the Lions will be able to duke out their differences on the field next season as Detroit is scheduled to head to Dallas for a 2023 game.
