Michael Chandler is supposed to fight Conor McGregor at the conclusion of this season’s The Ultimate Fighter.

However, things are beginning to look like that fight may never happen.

McGregor has yet to begin his six-month testing period with USADA and his latest allegations make things all that much more complicated.

With all of that in mind, rising star Arman Tsarukyan called out Michael Chandler after earning a big win at UFC Fight Night.

After Tsarukyan called out lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, he took to social media and called out Chandler as well.

Of course, he mentioned Conor McGregor in his tweet as well, making it a solid jab at Chandler. Here’s what he had to say to one of the UFC’s top lightweight contenders.

Tsarukyan is certainly rising the ranks and calling out Michael Chandler makes a ton of sense.

Especially considering, if they each fought each other, there is a chance the winner gets a title shot after either Dustin Poirier or Justin Gaethje.

On top of that, it’s already June and there is no sign of Conor McGregor returning soon. So, for that reason, perhaps Arman Tsarukyan could be a nice pivot the UFC can make for Chandler’s next fight.

Nothing is set in stone just yet though. Dana White and the UFC have every intention of getting McGregor and Chandler to fight each other.

Conor McGregor’s allegations are an ongoing investigation right now and there is no telling how that will play out just yet.

With that said, the UFC should definitely be preparing for a Plan B option.
