Three months back, Michael Oher made news when he filed a 14-page petition claiming that the Tuohy family, who along with him inspired ‘The Blind Side,’ book and movie, mislead him into making them his conservators after he turned 18 in 2004, instead of legally adopting him.

This conservatorship allegedly granted the Tuohys the legal authority to execute business deals on Michael’s behalf.

Oher claimed at the time that he made “absolutely nothing” from the successful movie and book.

New details are now emerging about the financial numbers involved and turns out Oher lied.

According to court documents discovered by NBC News, Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy disclosed the sum Michael Oher allegedly earned from The Blind Side’s rights.

The report says Oher received $138,000 in proceeds from both the book and the 2009 film.

That contradicts his previous claims.

Michael Oher went on to have solid success in the NFL including getting selected in the 1st round by the Ravens, and winning a Super Bowl with them in the 2012 season.

However, it appears that behind the scenes the happy family that we saw in the Sandra Bullock movie was not happy at all.
