Michael Strahan Gives His Super Bowl Picks And It’s Bad News For Patriots Fans

Michael Strahan made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and the Super Bowl XLII champion gave his picks on who will win it all this year in Houston. With the Conference Championships taking place this weekend there are only two games left before the Super Bowl.

In the NFC it’s all down to Matt Ryan and Atlanta Falcons vs. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. On the AFC side, Tom Brady has once again brought the New England Patriots to the AFC Championship game and Ben Roethlisberger will once again be taking the snaps for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Championship Weekend is FULL of household names.

Tom Brady’s making his 11th appearance in a Championship Game, setting the all-time record. Collectively, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Ben Roethlisberger have a shit ton of Super Bowl rings between the three of them…Michael Strahan only has 1 himself, but he’s appeared in two Super Bowls.

Somewhere between discussing how difficult it is for a team to get back to a Super Bowl, saying it took his team 8 years between appearances. He touched on how young players should NEVER take a Super Bowl appearance for granted, and then he gave his picks for the 2017 Super Bowl:

Strahan claims the Pittsburgh Steelers will upset the New England Patriots because the Steelers have a high-powered offense unlike anything the Pats saw with Houston.

He also believes that Matt Ryan (Matty Ice) is overdue…Not only does Strahan believe the Falcons are overdue, but he then says he ‘hopes they go all the way’, naming the Atlanta Falcons as his hopeful team to win it all.

Personally, I’m a Bucs fan so I don’t have a horse in this race, and I don’t see any way the Pats or Packers don’t win it all. They’re the two hottest teams and they both seem relatively unstoppable at this moment.
