While it doesn’t get the same hype that the NBA or NFL draft do, the MLB’s version of the draft happened yesterday, with the Philadelphia Phillies selecting California prep outfielder Mickey Moniak with the top overall pick. And after Moniak landed No. 1 overall, he described something that his buddy now has to own up to.

That’s right, because he landed in the top-10, Mickey Moniak’s friend, Ethan Abrams—who unwisely bet against that happening—is forced to get a tattoo on his ass of the player’s signature.

Talking to the MLB Network after being picked, Moniak joked about the bet and said that he was going to “hold (Ethan) to that.” Hopefully, Mickey can have the artist just trace his John Hancock, otherwise he’ll have to sign his buddy’s butt—which would actually be worse than getting the tat itself.
