Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers weren't in sync on Thursday night
The reunion honeymoon between Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy appears to be over. Cameras caught McCarthy calling Rodgers a couple of cuss words during the Steelers’ Thursday Night Football loss to the Cleveland Browns.
During the Steelers’ 27-24 loss to the Browns on Thursday night, dropping their record on the season to 2-2, the broadcast’s cameras caught quarterback Aaron Rodgers and head coach Mike McCarthy getting into a heated exchange.

McCarthy was contrite about the spat while speaking to the media after the loss.
“Communication sometimes is not the best choice of words but everybody’s competing on the field,” McCarthy said.
“And I think what’s said on the field, the way I grew up in this game, usually stays on the field. That’s not the case today, I understand that, but any negative communication on my part, I wish I wouldn’t use those words.”

In the loss to the Browns, Rodgers — allegedly playing in his final NFL season — completed 22 of 40 passes for 299 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
The Steelers will now have over a week to prepare for their Week 5 matchup at home against the Indianapolis Colts, while the surprising 3-1 Cleveland Browns will next travel to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to take on the Jets.
