Teams across the league are preparing for the NFL Draft as the scouting combine is currently underway.
The media is all over the place picking the brains of head coaches. However, things got a bit awkward with Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel on Tuesday.
McDaniel was meeting with Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio and Chris Simms and things got weird from the jump. Simms made some cringy comments about Mike McDaniel’s attire and it just felt weird.
Eventually, Florio made a comment about hinting at McDaniel showing off his money, and well, the Dolphins’ head coach hit them with a solid clap back.

Between the lack of laughter from McDaniel and his “meh” shoulder shrugs, it’s safe to assume he didn’t appreciate the comments from Mike Florio and Chris Simms.
I mean, the guy is there scouting rookies to potentially draft. His mind is on roster building and football right now. On top of that, it’s just a really weird way to start an interview.
NFL fans couldn’t help but feel the cringe and sided with Mike McDaniel.
