Tomlin first mentioned his passion for Minecraft in an interview with TODAY ahead of his debut as an NFL analyst for NBC.
“I started playing Minecraft, man, when my kids were young,” he said. “I have a Minecraft city…that I’ve been working on for like 12 years.”
Fast-forward to about a month later, and Tomlin released a roughly 20-minute-long video titled “Rooftops, Penthouses, and Urban Living” that walks through the Minecraft world that Tomlin has been building for over a decade.
Tomlin’s city features high-rise apartments, baseball fields, stadiums, and plenty of aquariums, with the Super Bowl winner adding he “really got obsessed with rooftop penthouses.”
“I was always really conscious of appropriate amenities,” he said. “You’ll find an appropriate number of public restrooms and stuff throughout my properties.”
