Mike Tyson is speaking out for the first time after his fight against Jake Paul. Last month, Tyson fought Paul in a highly publicized fight that was seen by over 60 million viewers on Netflix.

Since then, several conspiracy theories have popped up claiming that Tyson didn’t throw many punches against Paul because the fight was fixed.

On Friday, Tyson spoke with Fox Sports Radio and claimed he doesn’t remember much about what happened during fight night when asked if he wasn’t going 100 percent vs Paul.

ā€œI donā€™t remember the fight that much, I kind of blanked out a little…I remember coming back from the first round and Jake is doing some kind of ā€¦ I donā€™t know what he was doing [leans forward pretending to bow] and thatā€™s the last thing I remember,ā€

Tyson questioned his decision to fight Paul after the event.

“I never thought about that! The day after the fight, I woke up and told my wife ‘why did I do that?’ I just don’t know what the hell went on.”

Immediately after the fight, Tyson revealed that he had nearly died and was thankful for being able to get into the ring for one last time.

{This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. Iā€™m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time.”

“I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.”

“To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you šŸ™”
