News broke that DeAndre Hopkins will be visiting the Tennessee Titans over the weekend. Which makes sense given the team’s weak wide receiver core.

However, it appears head coach Mike Vrabel is being a bit indifferent with the eventual visit after addressing the situation.

During a presser with local media, Vrabel claims that the Titans simply “want players who want to be here.” He takes it a step further claiming he “no longer recruits” players either, per Jim Wyatt.

Listen to Mike Vrabel’s full statement regarding DeAndre Hopkins.

The Titans have been tight lipped ever since Mike Vrabel took over as head coach. So it’s not surprising he doesn’t give away too much information.

But at the same time this would be an exciting acquisition for Tennessee.

Meanwhile, Mike Vrabel might be rubbing off on his players, as even Treylon Burks was indifferent about DeAndre Hopkins possibly signing with the Titans, via Jim Wyatt.

When healthy, Hopkins produces monster numbers and Tennessee could use that kind of firepower in the wide receiver room.

But the Titans are playing it smart in not showing all of their cards either.

Hopkins is set to visit the Titans on Sunday, June 11. It’s his first official visit with a franchise since being released by the Arizona Cardinals.

There are sure to be more visits coming up, as there are still plenty of teams who would love to sign Hopkins.

With that said, keep an eye on Mike Vrabel and the Titans, as a good visit with DeAndre Hopkins could lead to a signing.
