Former Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll has been living it up in Qatar as her home country continues to move on in the World Cup.

Knoll has garnered a ton of attention during the tournament for her daring, risque, some say law-breaking outfits.

Risking being arrested in Qatar for the revealing outfit she wore at her country’s 4-1 win over Canada, she’s encountered nothing but love from the fans over there.

Qatar stated, heading into the World Cup, that “visitors are expected to show respect for local culture by avoiding excessively revealing clothing in public,” adding that “it is generally recommended for men and women to ensure their shoulders and knees are covered.”

No one over there seems to care about that rule though, at least when it comes to Ivana Knoll.

“I respect every country where I’m coming and I asked about the rules here and locals confirm me that I can dress as usually because for the World Cup they are making an exceptions and they will allow us to wear on the way how we are wearing it in usually,” Knoll told Piers Morgan during an interview this week. “And that’s why I decided to wear my outfits because locals confirm me that it’s allowed. And I didn’t have any bad reaction as I told you Qatari people, Arabic people coming to me, to do photos with me, even very nice female and woman’s on the stadium on the last game they came, the photo went also viral with a nice hijab, and they came to me to do photos with me in my outfit, Croatian outfit what I had in the last game.”

She’s not kidding…

So, with Croatia back in action on Friday, taking on Brazil, Ivana Knoll was back inside the stadium wearing an outfit that by all accounts is firmly against the laws of the host country.

And why not? No one seems to care what she wears. Well, except for a few million fans, and none of them are complaining.
