Bees aren’t necessarily the most terrifying insect in the world, but that doesn’t mean anyone wants to get stung by one. Well, anyone who doesn’t harbor some weird bee sting fetish. I’m sure there is someone out there with that.
Anyway, during a Cactus League spring training game between the Padres and Rockies, a swarm of bees stormed the field and the players reacted rationally. They all hit the fucking deck hoping that stop, drop and roll worked as well on bees as it does on fire. I’m not sure if that is the case, but I suppose it is a slightly more manly than I would have had. That reaction would have been running away like a little bitch while screaming bloody murder.
