I suffered a hang nail in my men’s league basketball game last month and I seriously considered sitting the second half on the bench. Don’t tell my father that because he’d probably put me up for adoption, but in my defense, hang nails are sneaky the most painful injuries that fall in the “shake it off and play on” category. The under-nail skin has been touched less than my hog, so it’s super sensitive. That’s my defense and I’m sticking to it. Fuck off dad.
Anyway, never have I felt so weak about the injury that made my eyes water than I have watching this German MMA dude get his shoulder popped back into place by his opponent, shake it off, touch gloves, and resume combat.
The incident occurred at Mannheimer Hafenkeilerei on December 10th in Germany. Arkadiusz Wroblewski missed on a haymaker, resulting in the dislocation, and opponent Paata Tschapelia played doctor. Paata ended up beating Arkadiusz Wroblewski with a TKO at 3:52 of round 1, according to Uproxx.

P.S. Brilliant move by Paata here with the sneak attack re-location. If I ever dislocate my shoulder hailing a cab or something, please don’t warn me that you’re going to aggressively tug on the thing that’s sending agonizing pain through my body, just fucking tug it.
