Mo Cheeks Is First Coach to Be Fired This NBA Season; Pistons Find Out on Twitter

by 4 years ago

Mo Cheeks’ tenure at the Pistons is no more after a disappointing one-year run with the 21-29 team. ESPN reports that GM Joe Dumars has his sights on hiring former Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins to coach Josh Smith, Brandon Jennings, and the rest of the underperforming squad. Dumars has fired eight different coaches during his career in Detroit.

Hey, speaking of Joe Dumars: Was it so hard to send an email? You kind of forgot to tell your team that you had just fired its coach. I think you broke Brandon Jennings.
