The PGA Tour’s Top 3 Villains In The Eyes Of Me, An Absolute Nobody

Let’s be honest, no matter what you do, no matter how big the stage is, you are not going to be able to please everyone. That is just the way life works, and especially the way professional sports work. But of all sports, golf has always seemed to be lacking a certain “villain” or somebody that fans can collectively root against. But it is 2020 now and the game is starting to change a little bit for the better in my eyes. Let’s take a look into my opinion of the guys who have been stirring the pot a bit on Tour. Shall we?

3. Brooks Koepka

Hate em or love em, there is not really a middle ground when it comes to Brooks Koepka fans. Koepka burst onto the scene with his first major win at the 2017 US Open. He has not looked back since, although some people out there wish he would have. Koepka has a carefree attitude, especially when he is not playing in a major, which does not sit well with golf fans. Regardless of what you think, there is no denying he is one of the best in the game right now.

2. Sergio Garcia

Go ahead and ask the bunker he destroyed at the Saudi International if it agrees with him being on this list or not. Although a good player, Garcia has been recognized widely for his course meltdowns. Another name that does not sit well with old school golfers and ones that care for course etiquette.

1.Patrick Reed

Do I really have to explain myself on this one? Most people reading this article probably stopped at No. 2 because they knew damn well who would hold the top spot. Reed has highly criticized for his on-course antics and cheating claims. He is a guy that seems to enjoy being the villain and looks like he will hold the top spot for a long time to come unless he can change his ways, but it honestly may be too late.
