Myles Garrett was voted as the NFL's best player by his peers
Myles Garrett, fresh off breaking the NFL sack record, was named the best player in the NFL in the NFL’s annual Top 100 list. To mark the occasion, the NFL produced a video of Garrett’s peers hailing him as the league’s best player.
The NFL released a video of Myles Garrett — who was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason and is now in a position to compete for a Super Bowl for the first time in his career — watching the messages from fellow players that accompanied his ranking as the No. 1 player on the 2026 NFL Top 100.
The NFL Top 100 is an annual list voted on by active players, making it one of the most meaningful individual honors in the sport.

“It feels special, especially from those last two. I love those guys,” an emotional Garrett said of the video.
“It means a lot coming from Maxx, too. He’s been a brother to me for years now.…out of reach for Micah and Will and Maxx. But it means a lot hearing that from them. It means a lot coming from all these guys at the very tops of their game.”
Garrett and the Los Angeles Rams will begin their 2026 NFL season when they take on their NFC West rivals, the San Francisco 49ers, in Melbourne on Thursday, September 10, at 8:35 p.m. EST. The Rams enter the season as the betting favorites to win this year’s Super Bowl.
